Zack Wingard was born in a small town in South Carolina and up until he went to college, he never had a proper art class. He has been drawing since the age of 5 and has always had an interest in animation. It wasn’t until he watched the original Jurassic Park that his spark for VFX took shape. When movies such as Transformers (2007) and the groundbreaking Avatar (2009) were released it became clear to him that VFX was his passion.
